Norton Wrestling: Taking Down the Big Boys

Coming back from a strong year last year the Norton Boys will be ready to make possibly the strongest playoff and regular season run. While returning most of last seasons line up a few underclassmen have joined the mix (Max Albert, Devin Santanglo, Brett Santaglo) and a few others stepping on to the mat for the first time (Adrian Sukolowski). The returning team his all been mentioned on the morning announcements countless times. 

Coming up the boys look to face the division one Bridgewater-Raynham Raiders who are going to go far in their respected division. B-R was where Norton's Coach Francis wrestled then coached for 25 years before unceremoniously leaving and coming to Norton. This is shaping up to be a real rivalry. 

Update: The Lancer brigade demolished B-R in convinceing fashion. Brett Santanglo changed the momentum of the meet with a tactile pin at 126 lbs. Then the following Lancers pinned their opponents Shuko, Scapetti, Cardone, Burgess, Lavelle, Merriot, and Sukolowski. 

Who are the Patriots? (Week 13 Preview)

It's that time of year where teams in the NFL are becoming full of injuries. The New England Patriots have lost a starter in almost every position. The Patriots will have to rely on a passing game with a leaky offensive line and wide receivers who have a bad case of the drops. JJ Watt on the other side of the ball will make this Sunday hell for Tom Brady. James White and Blount will be the featured backs of the day along with Amendola and LaFell being the featured receivers. The Patriot defensive will need to be the highlight. The Texans only having one name in their offense (Deandre Hopkins) the Patriots defense will only need to stop that and their non-existant run game. 

I predict the Patriots will win 35-14

Bills Vs. Patriots Round 2

The New England Patriots will be taking on the Buffalo Bills on Monday November 23rd. With an injury plagued offense (missing Dion Lewis, Julian Edleman, and many Linemen) the Patriots will not be throwing for over 500 yards again but, possibly more of a ground attack with LeGarrette Blount and James White. Brandon LaFell will be a factor this time around returning from IR he missed the first game between the two rivals. While the Bills are returning with a fully healthy team.

Karlos Willams and LeSean McCoy will be leading the Bills rushing attack while Tyrod Taylor to Sammy Watkins will be a probable power house in Foxboro. The Patriots defense being more healthy than their offense will need to shut down the Bills dynamic attack. 

It's shaping up to be a real Rivalary game. It'll be a close battle and will defenitly one to remember. I predict the Patriots will win 27-24. 

Bruins Vs. Stars

The Bruins had an awful start this NHL season. With a few losses at the start of the season they look to play the Dallas Stars next week. 

The Stars have the previous star of the team Tyler Seguin. The Bruins are an aging team with a few hopeful strings of youth. Chris Kelly will be a weapon this year. All and all it'll be great series to watch. 

Raask will have a big game in net. While Marchand will lead the defensive front. Those two have been a power team on defense for a while and seem to continue.

Fantasy Preview Week: 5 Start 'Em Sit 'Em

Devonta Freeman of the Atlanta Falcons is having the season of his life. Getting seven touchdowns in four games. With Jameis Winston at quarterback I would not be surprised to see him get several more scores against the Washington Redskins struggling defense. Averaging 50 receiving yards and 65 rushing yards Freeman would be the perfect fit for a PPR league.

Tom Brady of The New England Patriots and his set of versatile weapons are set to take on the crippled Dallas Cowboys. The receiving corp of TB12 will have a field day. Brady tore apart the then number 1 rated defense of the Bills and will have no problem destroying America's Team.

Gostkowski is averaging 11.7 points through three games and faces a Cowboys defense that has surrendered 26 or more points three times in four outings. Gostowski will be the best kicker this week.

Sportsmanship Essay

Sportsmanship is defined as ethical, appropriate, polite and fair behavior while participating in a game or athletic event. I believe that it is more than just on the field. I believe sportsmanship follows us our entire lives. Sportsmanship is respect. Respect is a core element in any relationship. Being sportsman like off the field allows you develop trust with the people you meet and trust can benefit in major ways and help you move up in the world.

Brady Back with a Vengeance

Tom Brady passing for over 700 yards in two games sends a message to rest of the league after the deflategate scandal. Last weeks game against buffalo Brady set the all time game passing record with 466 yards and connecting with Gronk one time and Eddleman twice for touchdowns. While the scandal may have distracted him in the off season it won't slow him down.  

Looking forward to Jacksonville Tom Brady looks forward to tear apart an already weak defense. I predict that the ground will be the primary attack focus but Brady should get about two hundred yards passing.
